Ok now. Toy Story 3 is pretty much guaranteed to win for Best Animated Feature Film, but really Academy? You can't give the best Disney Princess movie since Beauty and the Beast a nom?
Yeah. This is the beauty that I'm talking about. Now I am open for disagreement, but this was by-far my favorite animated movie in a looooong time and possibly my favorite movies of the year.
I might be being biased by my love for Zachary Levi (and Mandy Moore too I guess). But seriously? "I See the Light" was nominated for Best Original Song, AND IT BETTER DAMN WELL WIN! I've been listening to the other three noms and I am not as impressed or awestruck as I am with this score.
Plus, the lantern scene was jaw-dropping beautiful.
Also, I am not a The Social Network fan. I know that is basically a sin against nature or whatever but I just found the whole movie mediocre. Don't get me wrong, I thought the story was brilliantly interesting, and I did enjoy some of the cinematography very much, but the movie as a whole did not impress me as much as the media assured me it would.
So Oscars, you got many things right as far as nominations go. But if you disappoint come February 27th.... Harrison will not be happy.
Let's go Natalie!!!!
Much love.
