For a prime example of this I turn to 12-year old Harrison who is deeply into bands like Simple Plan and Good Charlotte. Every night he would listen to their songs and deeply melt away into the fact that these boys truly understood him. He would say that they are some of his favorite bands and that they are very good at doing guitars and shit.
Then Harrison turned 13 and strayed from these bands. Then Harrison turned 14 and forgot about these bands.
Look at this gratuitous amount of douche |
It was such a sad day.
But that happens all the time. I mean think about all the Twilight girls who are one day going to have babies, name them Renesme or Bellward, go to a rehab facility for meth addiction, and leave realizing they loved something awful and now they have a baby that reminds them of it.
SO SAD!
Think about watching show's like Blue's Clues and then turning 7 and realizing that there is way too much time to answer Steve's (or Joe, whichever one is not doing drugs at the moment) questions!
It is a sad... sad... moment.
But at least there are things that will never fade from my favor. Like Pokemon... or men.
Much love!
-Harrison
