Hate is a strong word. But in this situation it is totally necessary. This is meant for humor, but this is serious, these things get on my nerves. More than me hating them, they make me go wtf. Also, I don't believe in hating people... but I do believe in being irked by some of the stupid things they do.

Illogical Homework

Ok now. I am not afraid of homework. Honestly, I like a decent amount of it. I like to have ten-fifteen pages to read, maybe a two-four page essay, and some photographs to take. I can get it done, do a good job, and learn some cool stuff.

But wouldn't it make sense to give less homework during the week and more during the weekend? Yes. It would make sense.

This professor wants to punish you.
With homework... and then her ruler.
But here was my homework from last week:

I was assigned to read 5 pages over the weekend and 30 between Monday and Wednesday! HOW THE FUCK'S FUCK DOES THAT MAKE SENSE!?

In the past I have had no homework over the weekend and then they do a whole project between Tuesday and Thursday. Double-U. Tee. Eff.

Now I understand that professor's sometimes can forget what it's like to be a student... but they need to try to stop being pretentious and be a normal human being. I don't care how many academia bullshit books you write about why the color blue is infesting our youth. I don't care about how many paintings of yourself naked you paint. Stop trying to be a professor and be a person who I can learn from.

Maybe that was condescending and confusing, but maybe professors are condescending and confusing too. So in the end it is a vicious circle.

Much love.
