Ok now. I have recently been ushering at our basketball arena and thus I have had to observe the habits of basketball players more than I usually would.
I mean. Come on. You just ripped off another player's ear and he is bleeding on the floor and you're upset that they're calling a foul!
I just hate athletes' sportsmanship in general. In general, most players on the team are like, "We lost! The universe is against us! The refs are Satanists! The other team's fans were throwing boxes of tampons at me! My shoe was untied! I'm addicted to meth!"
But in all reality... you lost, because you keep making excuses instead of focusing on fixing your problems.
When I was in high school. There was a few kids on our basketball team (which was awful) who would always punch walls and cry whenever they lost, and I was just like... wtf? It's a game. Why don't you either: accept that you're not good and move on, accept that you're not good and get better, or accept that you're not good but still have fun just playing the game?
Maybe I will never understand because I am not an athlete. But I was in golf for one year.... and those golfers get angry alll the time!
Much love.
